This Week is British Science Week and to celebrate we had a fantastic Federation Day at Catfield.
Everyone got the chance to make stomp rockets with the Mad Scientists Dr De-en-ay and Prehistoric Pete.
There where mini bug hunts, parachutes, investigating buoyancy and density, making "quick sand" and loads of other sciencey stuff.
Here are just a few snapshots of the day. Look out for more in further posts!

Mrs H wasn't quick enough to catch the rockets actually in flight!

Testing out why things float or sink using oranges and eggs.

Who knew cornflour could do such weird things.
And yes, Mrs Mayhew did clear up all the mess afterwards!
